A Sunset Picnic on the Beach
A Sunset Beach Picnic in Vrinners – Denmark
A long day with sunshine late into the evening, put us in the mood to be outside. For an outing that is fun and unexpected, why not take ourselves on a sunset picnic to the beach.
We made it as simple as we could. So, We bought some grapes, strawberries and a special Danish treat known as Kammerjunker and Koldskål. Kammerjunker is small twice-baked biscuit which is typically served with Koldskål; a cold summer soup based on buttermilk, yolks and sugar.
It was real a quick and budget-friendly to get this summer vacation complete without the worry of travel. We just need walked 5 minutes from our holiday place to reach this beautiful beach.
As soon as we were reached the beach, there was no-one. We were the only ones who got so excited about sunset. The light breeze felt good as it brushed against our cheeks. We found a seat to put our things which was near a Seagulls protected area. My husband directly played with our dog (Benno) in the crystal clear water while I went picking seashells. A short while later, our stomachs were grumbling. So, we knew it’s time for the Danish summer cold-bowl. It has slightly lemon-vanilla tart taste and delightful which is so perfect together with the crunchy biscuits and strawberry pieces.
For us, it was really a cosy spot for a picnic. Pristine golden beaches covered in tiny shells with plenty of picnic seats so we didn’t have to bother with bring some beach towel. We just laze and enjoy the beauty of nature, seagulls in the sun flickering landscape and just when the sun kissed the earth.
Nice view hopefully we can go there next time. Me and my kids miss u so much love u
