  • 2 egg

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar (optional)

  • a pinch of salt

  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 10 slices white bread

  • 1 Tbsp butter

  • walnut

  • maple syrup

  • whipped cream (optional)

  • walnut (optional)

Anweisungen

  • Beat together eggs, pumpkin puree, milk, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Set a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter in. Dunk each slice of bread in the egg mixture, flip sides and then place on the hot skillet. Cook until each side is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Repeat with remaining bread
  • Serve directly with a drizzle of maple syrup and whipped cream. Sprinkle with some chopped walnut, if desired.
