250 g ground hazelnut
500 g flour
250 g unsalted butter
250 g sugar
2 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
250 g dark chocolate
Steps
- In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter and sugar on medium speed until light and creamy, for about 3 minutes
Add egg and vanilla extract, beat to incorporate.


- Reduce mixer speed to low, and gradually add flour, ground hazelnut, and baking powder.
Mix until well-combined.
Chill the dough for a minimum of 30 minutes to 2 hours before shaping.


- Put the dough into the meat grinder with cookie attachment and insert the star shape.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

- Form the cookies with desired shapes on prepared baking sheets. I let my cookies have straight shape.
Bake until light golden brown around the edges, about 12 minutes.
Let cool completely.

- Melt the dark chocolate. Brush half cookies with the melted chocolate.
Store the cookies in a tin box.
