minutesThis Vanilla sauce is similar to Crème Anglaise. It’s simple and perfect to serve anytime with any type of dessert.
Ingredients
3 Tbsp sugar
175 ml milk
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg yolks
Steps
- Mix all the ingredients : sugar, milk, cornstarch, vanilla extract and the egg yolk in a sauce pan.
Put on over medium heat and stir for about 5-7 minutes.

- Remove from the heat and directly cover the surface with waxed paper to prevent a skin forming.
It can be served warm or cold.
Move to a jar, cover tightly and store it in the fridge for a coupe of days.
