Autumn is coming now and this delicious fresh peach cobbler can still give you a touch of summer warmth. – Try it with vanilla ice cream.

Zutaten

  • 500 g peaches

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 50 g sugar

  • 115 g butter

  • 125 g flour

  • 150 g sugar

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 egg

  • 180 ml milk

Anweisungen

  • Peel and slice the fresh peaches into thin wedges. Meanwhile Preheat the oven to 175°Celsius.
  • Put the unsalted butter in to a baking dish around 20x 30 cm and pop up in the oven until the butter melting and set aside.
  • Peach mixtures: Add fresh peaches, lemon juice, cinnamon and sugar into a saucepan and bring into boil. Turn off the heat and set aside.
  • Batter mixtures: Mix all together the dry ingredients ( flour, sugar, salt, baking powder) in to a large bowl. Make a hole in the middle, then put the egg and milk. Stir slowly and mix it until all well combine.
  • Pour the batter mixtures over butter but don’t whisk them. Just let the batter going over all the baking dish.
  • Spread the peach mixtures over the top on the batter and do not stir.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve it with vanilla ice cream when it still hot.
