Directions
Sweet and Sour Chicken
is a dish frequently served in Chinese restaurants in various Western countries. It comprises cubes of chicken deep-fried in batter, coated with sweet and sour sauce. My family and I love Chinese food, but this sweet and sour chicken always blow our mind. This sweet and sour sauce goes extremely well with plain white rice but it also so great with fried rice. Try it and I would be happy if you let me know how your sweet sour chicken turns out!
Note:
- I used tricolor of bell peppers ( red, green, yellow), but it doesn’t have to be tricolor. You can use only red or green as you like.
- You can adjust the sugar and vinegar, if you like sweeter or you like a little bit more sour for the sauce.
- If you want to get bright red color on the sauce, you can add 2 -3 drops red food color in the sauce mixture, before you pour it in the skillet.
