75 ml milk
500 ml water
25 g butter
1/4 tsp salt
a pinch of ground black pepper
a pinch of nutmeg optional

Mashed potato

is a perfect side dish for almost every meal. The texture is very smooth and creamy. This recipe is very simple and easy to make, you just boiled up some potatoes and mash it together with butter and milk. I’m thinking that even my little cousin can make it by herself. So, give it a try and i hope you enjoy as i do.

Peel and cut the potatoes into cube and transfer into a pot.
Pour the water and add a quarter teaspoon of salt. Let it cook for 20 minutes or until the potatoes turned soft.

Once the potatoes cooked, drain the potatoes. Mash together with the butter.
Add milk and beat until the mashed potatoes are smooth.
Season with a pinch of pepper and nutmeg (optional)
Don't over-beat the potatoes.
