Directions
Korean cheese fire chicken
or commonly known as cheese buldak is a heavily spiced cuisine original from South Korea. The meaning of the name is “fire chicken”, where Bul means fire and Dak translates to chicken. Buldak is using bite-sized chicken pieces, marinated with spicy sauce made of gochujang (korean hot pepper paste), Gochugaru (korean hot pepper powder), soy sauce, garlic, ginger and covered with melted cheese. The first time i had this meal was a year ago in winter with my Vietnamese friends. They showed me how to make this delicious dish. The taste is absolutely amazing if you are a spicy food lover.
You can use any part of chicken you like, instead the chicken breast. If you cannot find the rice cakes in the Asian market, then substitute with normal steamed rice.
