Directions
Stir fry tofu
or known as oseng-oseng tahu is a simple traditional food from Indonesia which i really love. Give it some time by itself in a hot oil in your wok, and you’ll get bouncy texture that will amaze you. When all the spices have been added, the tofu will be absorbed all the spicy, sweet and savory sauce, so it’s delicious and worth a try. This stir fry is can be eaten with rice or just on it’s own.
My husband is not a fan of tofu, when he used to see the tofu in the fridge, he would quickly asking what i will going to do with that. He couldn’t even let his brain consider what kind of food i could make with this tofu. but thank God he also really love this food like i do.
The Indonesian translation of tofu is ‘Tahu’ and it is a popular food ingredient in Indonesia, Not only has low calories, but it is also cheap. The recipe i got it from my mom, she always make this dish very spicy sometimes the next day i got stomachache :p but of course in this recipe i use not so much chilis like my mom always does. Spiciness here is very optional, if you don’t like so much spicy then use less chilis.
